Today I'm sharing a fun shark cake design with you! This cake would be a perfect birthday cake for kids who love sharks, or for beach themed cakes and pool parties!

We hope that you enjoy the video, and if you give it a try, please leave a photo or comment below!

    Materials:

For our Shark Cake design, we decorated 8 inch and 6 inch tiers with our Classic Vanilla Buttercream Frosting.

Each tier was on it's own cake cardboard circle cut down to the size of the cake.

Our bottom tier. was about 4 inches tall and top tier was about 5 inches tall. The top tier was supported from beneath by 4 bubble tea straw supports cut to the height of the bottom tier.

Coloring Gels: Americolor Black, Super Red, Wilton Green, Orange, Lemon Yellow

Fondant (we added a little tylose powder to it)

Piping Tips: Tip 125 for waves/ruffles, 1M tip or any large tip for cutting out circles for fish, tip 10 or other small round piping tip for punching out holes in "coral"

Miscellaneous: Cake base or pedestal, small offset spatula for creating textured buttercream, disposable piping bags
