Can Vanilla Wafer Cake be Frozen?

Just as with the majority of our cakes, (from Lemonade Cake to Chocolate Bundt Cake , Strawberry Pound Cake and more) this cake freezes beautifully! Simply wrap the bundt cake tightly in plastic wrap and follow with a layer of aluminum foil. Into the freezer it goes! It will stay fresh for up to three months ! Since bundt cakes and pound cakes are larger than cake layers, they take longer to thaw. For this reason, we prefer to move the wrapped cake to the refrigerator the day before. Then, move it to the kitchen counter the next morning until thawed.

Does this cake need to be refrigerated?

No, this cake is fine to stay at room temperature on the kitchen counter, preferably in an airtight container or cake dome.

What does Vanilla Wafer Cake taste like?

While you'll get a hint of vanilla wafer flavor from the crumbs in this recipe, the flavor from the coconut and pecans is the most prominent. So delicious!
