Alternating layers of white and chocolate cake  (like White (doctored) cake, or Classic White Cake, and Chocolate (doctored) cake or our favorite Chocolate scratch recipe: Classic Chocolate Cake

Whipped Ganache or chocolate buttercream filling

Chocolate buttercream frosting.  This is a very pretty cake when cut also!

Is this the one you use to make the Zebra cake?
    Thanks

Hi Zenaida, no, this one is different. One layer is entirely chocolate and the next layer is entirely white, then another chocolate layer.

    Thanks
For replying how did you do the zebra combination. I don’t know if you have that recipe posted, I did see the pic and I LOVE IT!!!!. I tried doing it but it just came out as a marbled cake rather than your pattern. I would love to do it. Or did you just add chocolate on half of the batter and alternated it? I would live to do it that it may come out that way.
    Thanks

Is there a picture of the black and white cake with ganache that I’m missing? I have the links for all the recipes but see no picture of the cake.
