Today I finished the cake that I started working on in my Quilting video. I thought you’d like to see the end result! I made a few simple ribbon roses and a simple “S” topper. Monograms are always a popular choice! You can find details below!
I didn’t make a video of this one, since many of the techniques have already been covered. I really like how the “S” came out— BeBe used 12 gauge aluminum wire (which is a nice thickness, yet lightweight) to form the “S”. Then she wrapped it with ribbon, and we used our trusty glue gun to attach the gum paste flowers. We used floral wire to anchor the “S” to the cake.
Lots of fun!
