    Hello Melissa,

I was wondering if you could put on your (long) to do list a tutorial on the dusts, powders and dry colors and how they can and should be used. For example, which ones can we add vodka/lemon juice to to get a nice painted look? And, which ones are just for shine and luster? Which are to be used dry only and which can be used both ways? Also, maybe what are some of your favorites as well.

I've seen many online and in the craft store referred to as Pearl Dust, Luster Dust, Pedal Dust & Disco Dust.....and then of course, there's the shiny sugary flakes for sparkle, the dry powdered food colors, etc..

I guess I'd personally like to be able to give a pretty finishing touch to my cakes with a little glo or shine, but also be able to color/paint gumpaste flowers,etc..... and I find myself confused as to which ones to buy to do what.

    Thanks so much Melissa,
    Mary
