I'm making a 60th b-day cake. He has requested a 12 meter america's cup sail boat to go on top. I'm planning on making it out of fondant using picture & kit designs to do so. There are several ropes that go from the top of the sail to the boat. I'm a little stuck on how make these. I was wondering if I could add piping gel to royal icing & pipe it from top to bottom. It will be free hanging so I'm not quite sure how to go about this. Any help is much appreciated:)
