I have a four tier cake this upcoming weekend (bottom tier is 14"). I usually use the SPS system and stack the cake on site. However, because of the way I am decorating it, this cake requires me to deliver it fully assembled. I am so nervous. Three tiers is the most I have delivered fully assembled, and that scared me to death. Does anyone have any suggestions for safe transport? I was thinking about the center dowel, but will that be enough to make a cake that large be steady?
