Has anyone heard of this? Instead of using milk or water in your buttercream, use Karo syrup. I had a bit of difficulty with a batch of buttercream that was just to runny. I know I prob added too much liquid but it didn't seem like it to me. I added what the recipe called for and a couple tsp. more. It appeared to be ok at first but as it sat on the cake it didn't look as sturdy as I wanted it to. ANyways..I asked a cake decorating friend and she said she had quit using milk in her buttercream and switched to Karo Syrup. Has anyone ever heard of this or have had good results if so?
